My name is sam, I am a chef at a restaurant in Nottingham and my real passion is baking.
My earliest memories of baking was with my mum as a child and in school. I learnt a lot of basic skills from my mum, we have always loved cooking and would bake cakes when i was young.
As I got older I used to visit my granny a lot and whenever I went she would always make sure there were ingredients in for me to make something which we would have after dinner.
It was in my early 20’s I became interested in creating celebration cakes for friends and family, starting off very simply with basic designs using plunge cutters to create flowers and butterflies and i loved it. I feel more confident in every cake i make and would like to share my love and passion for all things cake with you all.
